Northwest Sickle Cell Camp
For the past 21 years our children have had an opportunity to experience a variety of activities such as boating, arts and crafts, bicycle riding, hiking, fishing and being outdoors under the direction of health care professionals knowledgeable about Sickle Cell Disease and treatment issues. Camp has also given our children the opportunity to develop relationships, talk about their experiences, ask questions, and learn more about Sickle Cell Disease.
It costs $23K to operate the summer camp program a full capacity.
Please consider making a donation to camp today.
Camp is normally held every 3 weekend of Aug (Fri-Mon). We are also always in need of camp counselors and volunteers to help at Camp.
Please consider becoming camp counselor today.
Sickle Cell Walk
Our goal is to have at least 350 in attendance and raise at least $25,000 to support our Summer Camp, Support Groups, and Scholarship program. During the walk we also hope to continue our efforts to promote healthy living by providing information booths about nutrition, dental, mental, and physical health. We believe that it is imperative that our families be leading the way in promoting health living in our communities.
If you would like to learn more to get involved with the walk please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
