Camp Korey is a nonprofit organization, which provides camping programs to children living with chronic or life-threatening medical conditions free of charge. They are located in Carnation, Washington, and the campers are children between the ages of 5 and 16 who are living with illnesses such as Sickle Cell Anemia, metabolic disorders, cranio‐facial differences, and other blood-borne illnesses. Their camping programs offer these children an opportunity to participate in activities like arts and crafts, rock climbing, team building, and more with the goal of allowing them to simply let loose, have fun, and BE KIDS.
Family Weekends at Camp Korey are an opportunity to provide the safety, love, respect, and empowerment that is offered to campers during the summer months, to entire families throughout the year. During family weekends, campers, siblings, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to bond with other families and take a break to relax. Boating, fishing, arts and crafts, climbing wall, stage night, Family Weekends have it all!
Look for the dates and application for our next Sickle Cell Family Weekend Camp in May!!
